My mom asked me this question for her manicurist (?) shes vietnamese and would like to have her computer display everything in her lang (she wants the kids to learn it) can you do this in windows normally or do you have to buy a vietnamese version?

Don't know about vietnamese, but the interface is always in English, unless you buy the alternate language version of XP. I think you can buy an upgrade pack from MS but don't know.

If she's just looking for support of Vietnames, that might be easier. The builtin multi-language functionality of XP is pretty good. It's not perfect, and some programs can *help* with it, but it never becomes perfect without the MS.

<< you need to find out what flavour of windows is being used ie win98, ME,XP etc!

I dont know but isnt there lang. versions of windows, like win98 for vietnamese?
