How can I set up virtual interface in Debian? I have vbox1(made by VBoxAddIF.sh) i-face and it is attached to one of my VM when I start VM I get this massage

It seems something wrong with vbox1 interface when I do ifup/ifdown I have next line:
Set 'vbox1' nonpersistent

How can I correct this? So, it means I should set this interface static via ifconfig(or /etc/network/interfaces) with IP address, mask etc.? Maybe the problem in absence of bridge configuration? :hmm:
