How can I set up my ipad at someone else's house?

I am visiting my In-Laws for Christmas and was happy to get an ipad. I turn it on and it tells me to hook it up to itunes. Am I going to run into issues if I hook into my mother in law's itunes to get things going?

You could connect it there to get it going, and then redo the process once you get home.

I have never done this before, but I think that it will work.

You should be able to log into your own iTunes account from any computer with iTunes. I have to do that with my sons ipad until mine arrives Thursday

You can log into your own account and all, but I think her machine will then count towards one of your 5 authorized machines that use/see your content and apps. It's not a big deal if you don't expect to need 5 different machines to need access to your purchased stuff, but just to be sure you can deauthorize the computer from your account when you leave (go to store> deauthorize this computer).

It's not a big deal as even if you forget then reach your limit later, you can deauthorize ALL devices that currently are authorized then just add the devices you actually use.
