I'm suffering from sinusitis, and the drainage facilitated by my meds is doing something to my throat. It itches like hell, and I can't seem to exert enough air through my trachea to scratch it. I ate one of those hard french rolls which was abrasive enough to provide some quick relief.

Any ideas? :)

I'd tell you to stick a finger down there, but you'll probably just throw up unless you're really good at suppressing your gag reflex, in which case I'd recommend a career in porn. ;)

I suffer from hayfever pretty bad, and have learned that you can actually scratch the back of your throat with the back of your tongue. It's hard to explain, as I've been doing it all my life. I was in my teens until I found out that wasn't normal. Then again, I was 16 until I learned I was colourblind. Maybe I'm clueless, but at least I know how to scratch the back of my throat! :) Hope this helps!

I somehow use my tongue to scratch the back of my throat when it is itchy. I've learned this method when I was a little kid. I don't know how I came up with it but when my throat itches I can use my tongue and it'll scratch it lol.
