how can i run an old win96 setup program in win2k? the setup installer program says this is not win95....blah blah..

LOL...I think he means Win95.

It?s telling that for a reason, most likely your program is incompatible with 2k. It wouldn?t be smart to force it on.

there's a proggy on the 2k cd, atcompat, apcompat or something along those lines (i'm not in front of my 2k box now to check) and it allows you to run any file and emulate as if you were running you're choice of most newer ms os's, 95, 98, nt...

eh tryed it dont work....well i guess "if it dont fit dont force it" ...whoa, that has a secret meaning to if u know what i mean..

Microsoft is suppossed to have a newer version of the apcompat someplace at their website floating around someplace; it's suppossed to work quite a bit better. I might be smoking crack though and not know what I'm talking about. If I find it I'll let you know.
