How can I retrieve my WinXP pro product key?

My brother shuffled his copy of WinXP with mine, and now I can't tell which cd/key is his and which is mine. We have our respective copies installed on our computers.

Is there an easy way to pull up the key on my computer so I can know for sure which cd/key is mine? I'm aware that there are various programs that will let me pull up this info available on the net for free, but I'm hesitant to go and run any of these random programs for fear of virus or worse. Thanks in advance!

My Computer, Properties ... it will show right there along with what sp you are at, ram, pc speed

nah, that's the encrypted key or whatever that's called. it's not the actual product key i need to retrieve to match up with my sticker.
