how can I restore just the appointments DB from an activesync backup file?

I backed up my pocketpc right before I hard-resest it. now I want to get my old appointments back, but not anything else. I've heard that there are progs that let you view individual files in an activesync backup file. but how do I import the appointments DB from that?
