I'm trying to resize a cartoon a friend made from 1024 x 768, but whenever Itake it down to 640 x 480 it looks all whacky Right now I'm resizing it by editing the HTML file which it is embedded in.

Is there any way to resize a flash file without losing its quality?

You might get a better result with 512x384 since it's exactly 1/2 in each dimension and so less of a challenge to scale properly.

get flash MX, it comes with a stand-alone player...ive only ever gone from the default size to fullscreen, but therefore you should be able to do anything in between (there is a free trial, its giant if you dont have broadband)
