Want to remove HSF from CL gefroce 2.
It seems it's glued on to the chip, no pins.
Do i remove it using old fashion way? Run games for hours then twist?

I put mine in the freezer for about 10min and then pop it off with a butter knife. Haven't broke one yet:) 5 for 5!

A good way to do it is to get a credit card, slide it under the heatsink, then use a flat headed screw driver to pop the heatsink off. I just did it on a voodoo 3 2000 with no problems and I plan on doing it to my Radeon later tonight. The credit card is basically there so that you don't scratch/damage the actual card.

Good luck, it's a relatively easy process.

On my CLAP the sink was clued with thermal glue.
I simply used a razor blade to get it off, then used some string cleaner to get the glue leftover off.

Yes, make sure that when you take the heatsink off, you clean the core chip using some cleaning alcohol or similar.
