How can I remotely access my music on my desktop?

Hi all,
I have a zaurus PDA which runs linux. I have already gotten it to work with windows shares via samba and can mount a directory with all my music onto my PDA and listen to it via my wireless network at home. I would like to know if it is possible for me to do something similar when I am at school with my PDA on the campus wireless network. What would I need to use? I would need to be able to mount the remote directory as a local directory so my media player will be able to utilize it. Any ideas?

I do not know the answer to the computer question.

But there should not be a "t" in schitzo.😉

The actual term is Schizoid often shorthen to Schizo.

i'm guessing you'd have to setup some kind of server at your house to allow the campus computer to access your home server. maybe try allow share on your music folder, then on campus computer map that drive. i think this only works in an internal network though. =\
