How can I relaxe my stiff blue jeans ?

I hate the way blue jeans are all stiff when they come out of the dryer. I use dryer sheets (Bounty).

It usually takes wearing them 2 or 3 times before they really relaxe.

Is there anything I can do to keep them soft and relaxed right out of the dryer ?

Different heat settings ?

Different drying method ?

Differet/Special fabric softener ?

Just wash em.... I know you can get them soft already, i have seen them in the mall, but i think if you try putting a few fabric softener sheets in the dryer instead of just one, that could work, or also use a liquid fabric softener in the wash too

What kind of water temperature is good for softening ? I am guessing HOT, but I could be wrong.

really depends on the type of blue jeans you have, some are just still other are made to be relaxed. consider investing in the jeans that are relaxed material

actually they were very relaxed when I bought them. And , like I said, they tend to relaxe after I wear them out for 2 or 3 days. I just get annoyed with the stiffness when I pull them from the dryer.

Fill your washing machine with water, add one capful of Downy Fabric Softener, soak the jeans overnight, then run through the rinse cycle and dry ???

I would think that if you wash them in water too hot, it would shrink them, i would try luke warm water, with lots of faberic softener. thats a tough question though.

yeah, because you actually wash the clothing in it. i think the sheets are just to make them smell good, and not be so static-y.
I think thats a good idea to soak the jeans in fabric softener for a little while and then wash them. If you do that, make sure you wash them really well because the fabric softener could irritate your skin

JEANS -- To soften jeans, run them through the wash with detergent and ½ salt.
To prevent streaking, wash them inside-out. ??

Poor gravel into your washing machine in with the jeans, wash normally, the jeans will come out great, the washer, well, that's another story.

(Yes people, I have done this at the local laundramat)
