How can I reduce fluctuations?

There has been no change that should cause these fluctuations in my daily numbers. I want to keep my keyrate maxxed if possible.

ok, realisticly, to keep things even, flush your client at the exact same time every day before midnight (midnight RC5 time that is, 8 PM EST)

Actually I've taken to surfing the net and checking email on a handheld WinCE device to avoid wasting valuable CPU cycles.
