Hi, before i had a VCR connected to my TV and if i wanted i taped any good shows i wanted to watch later(eg. DBZ for my cousin, Fear Factor for me) but it finaly gave up after 8 years of great use.

I am normaly able to watch them but some are a too late and i am studying so this makes things hard.

Is there any way i can record thouse shows on my PC so atleast i will be able to watch it.

And some of you may ask why don't you get another VCR well i spent most of my cash on my X1800XL and some speakers for my PC, so i can't right now.

IS this even posible to record shows on my PC using this card.

By the way could i use any of the plugs it came with.

Thanks for the help guys.

Quite obviously, to record TV, you need a TV input. Got none? Then fit one. See above link. The KWorld 7131R card gets the job done.

It's an ATI-original card, correct? With VIVO, correct? Did the VCR die, as in no power, or does it mearly not play/record tapes?

No $ Solution:
Record: The VCR is your tuner; output signal to the VIVO-in of the x1800XL.
Play back: S-Video out to the TV or simply play on your computer monitor.

What bundled OS or x1800xl software would you need to record, and later, play back?
