This is the case, I have an external 40 GB drive (already has a partition). I want to repartition it in 2 different data partitions..... How can I do it??? Do I need to take it out of the enclosure and use fdisk???

(system has winMe/win2k dual boot)

Thanks

Firewire is recognized as a drive interface by windows, so u can partition them. Unlike USB HD's.

From the desktop, right click on my computer. Select manage. Under storage you will see disk management. Under there you will see your drives. This allows you to partition, format, delete and upgrade to dynamic disks.

Cheers!
