How can i put one song in teh background for a BAND of a web page?.......please help

im sorry to ask such an annoying question but i dont know how to do this, please....i want it so that when the person goes to the site the song will play. and then when it's done it will play over again. anyone know how to do this?

I should shoot you for thinking of putting background music on a website, but you really have two options.

1. Embed a tiny Flash player whose only function is to play an MP3 song.

2. Embed a MIDI file.

Make sure you provide a way to shut off the music no matter which way you go.

could you be a little more specific on option 2. and btw its for a band website, yes on second thought i would also like to put a stop button on there, and play. please help guys

It's a much, much better idea to use Flash like I described in option #1 for what you're doing. I assume you're taking a sample of the band's music, digitizing it to WAV/MP3/WMA format and now planning on putting it online? The Flash option would be perfect for that.

im not currently a genius with flash, and is there any kind of easy html way of doing this (for their temproary site) i will do the flash feature later this weekend.

Music on webpages is annoying, unless i choose to play it, okay? Put it on there, but don't have it play by itself when the user gets to the page; give the user an option, like "hear the latest single!!" or something to that extent.
