I want to protect a site (http://blah.blah/) so that when you go to it, you just have to put in a password. Not a username & password a-la .htaccess..

I want it to come up with a box, but the username field be greyed out. The reason why I want it this way is because grandma & grandpa are going to be visiting it, and dont want to confuse them too much

nah.. I would prefer it already be pre-populated or just plain old greyed out.. I am pretty sure you can do it, I just cant remember how right now.
