How can I prevent Juno e-mails from always opening WMP9?

I use Juno application on my XP Pro system as my main E-mail application. For the last 2 or 3 weeks, every day I will get an email from a unknown user. It's never the same sender account, it usually changes the email address; but the results are always the same. These emails contain no more than 2 or 3 more sentences of incoherent stuff. But what really creeps me out, is that as soon as I look at the email (or, if I have no choice since it may be the 1st email shown), it will immediately launch Windows Media Player 9 and attempt to play a file. WMP9 asks me to play a unrecognized format 1st, and I say no. Then it just gives the orange ! mark, denoting it's unrecognizable file format. But still this creeps me out, especially since it happens every damn day.

How can I prevent WMP9 to responds to commands or Scripts from emails to open up WMP9? I looked high and low in my Juno account settings, and there isn't any option to disable scripts in emails that I know of? Is this setting in my 'Internet Options' somewhere?

Can someone help me figure all of this out. Thanks guys.

Well Bill, it falls into two different categories, so I'm not sure which place to post it in? But if anyone else can help, please do

Anyone have an idea on this. I know that Juno is a wimpy email client, but it does the job and I've had these email account's for almost 8 years now.

Thanks
