Hello,
I know how to do the LAN party, but is there a way to play games with your friends over the internet? I just want to play the games ONLY with my friends and not on some one else's server. Is there a way just to connect only with your friends over the broadband?
Thanks.

Really depends on the game and if lets you run your own server. Most every server you see online is a dedicated server, meaning someone designated a sole machine to serving games.

What you want to do is just 'host' a game on your machine, and then give your friend your IP address, and have him find it and join.

Any other questions and I'm sure someone here will help.

For Diablo, simply connect to Battle.net and create a password protected game. Obviously you'll both need a legal, unique CD Key.

FYI, to find out your IP address go to www.whatismyip.com.
