How can I paint my case?

I was thinking that my case would/monitor would be nicer if they were black... is there any SAFE way to paint them? What paints would be needed, and how should I apply them? Obviously on the monitor I just need to paint the front of it, not the sides/top, and the keyboard I can buy a black one, but how could I go about making my case, or case and drives, black while still being safe?

If i were you i would avoid painting your monitor because you will be pretty dissapointed with the results

I just did mine. I painted it black and all the buttons with a black light paint. I sprayed the case with just regular metal spray paint. to cheap to buy krylon. I painted the front cover with a paint called ceramcoat can be got at your local craft store. and I painted teh front of the CD case and floppy disk with the ceramcoat paint. not very satisfied with the results. Looks preety cool though from far away. email me if you want a pic.
