just get a mobo which allows you to overclock through the bios. a slot 1 or a socket 370/ppga mobo would do. i think the cpu fan that came with your cpu should be enough. since your fsb is 66 mhz and your multiplier is 7, you can try fsbs like 75 mhz, 83 mhz, 90 mhz, or if you are lucky, 100 mhz.

Check the BIOS of your motherboard to see if there are any options for adjusting the voltage (VCore) or the bus speed. You will want to increase the bus speed as far as you can get. Once you reach the limit, then you can bump up the voltage and see if you can get any higher. Be careful though. I wouldn't advise you do much with the voltage unless you have a board that monitors your CPU's temperature.

i got mine to work at 83 mhz fsb with a cheapo heatsink, I bought an alpha pal 3060 and a ys tech fan (not sure how many cfm) and still can't go any faster. Many people don't believe in "burn in", but it did work for me. This was my first computer that i built when i did all this and i was still a rookie. keeping this in mind i will tell you my dumb story. I had the system all together nicely and overclocked to a 75 mhz fsb and everything went fine at default voltage, then i got greedy and decided for the 83 mhz, but i had to raise the vcore to 2.3V, it worked fine for a while and then i started having stabilaty problems and then i backed down to 75 mhz, but still no luck, then back down to default speeds. Still no luck, i was worried that i killed my chip so i thought i would get an RMA, but as long as it "worked" I couldn't so i was told, so i thought i would try to kill it, I turned on the computer and unplugged the fan and left it like that for about an hour. I came back and plugged int he fan and rebooted and everything was fine. I tried overclocking to the 83 mhz FSB and everything was perfect. (thats what i have now) I even tried 100 mhz FSB for 700 mhz and that worked but with instability. so i backed down and i am puring @ 584 mhz with a 83 mhz FSB. Thats my story and by no means am i trying to promote killing your chip, just saying that after a while you might be able to kick it up a notch if your patient.
