how can I move things from Android browser's cache?

I downloaded a new alert from a couple different sites. The browser saves it to its download spot, but ringdroid can't find it. Also, Astro file manager can't find it and I can't find it when I connect my phone as a mass storage device.

I'm using Android 1.6 if it matters.

I'm using Android 1.6. My stuff automatically saves to the sdcard in the downloads folder. I'm using the default browser.

Oops. I mean the 'download' folder.

same here..its never gone anywhere else. can you see that folder in astro and there's nothing in it?

dang it....I was afraid of that.

Formatted sd, restored phone. I think I played with a setting in a program and don't remember which one 🙁

Luckily all important info is sync'd to my google account 🙂

Astro doesn't see it at all 🙁

I'm sure its something stupid. My brain is just fried today. You download a file and it saves to the "downloads" folder....right?

Why is that lil bastard hiding from me???
