How can I make Win2000 "forget" passwords?

...I don't want the machine to save my passwords and pop them up automatically when I enter a website that wants a previously set password?

I did a search for all *.pwl (like in Win98) files but found none.

Thanks,
RonC

Could it be this? In Internet Explorer:

TOOLS
INTERNET OPTIONS
ADVANCED
Under BROWSING
'use inline autocomplete'?

Probably not right?

You can also do this, in the field box, when you click it and you see all the usernames, just delete them, and it should delete the corresponding password too.

There's an easier way..

Tools->Internet Options->Content tab and then click on AutoComplete. To clear your passwords, click on Clear Passwords 🙂 And to stop disable AutoComplete, unchecked the boxes. Isn't that much eaiser?
