How can I make use of my K7Pros mobo USB headers?

I know there was a site that showed some guy mounting USB ports in the front of his computer, running from the two additional USB headers on the mothertboard.

I need it...I have used four ports already (three on a hub + one in my PC) and I only have one port left...

I think this might be what your looking for. It mounts in the front of the case and links right into the mb usb ports.

Edit: look on the right side about half way down the page. Is that what your looking for?

Those are hubs. He already has those.

He is talking about add on ports. I found some at a discount store but I am not sure whether or not they are pin compatible. They look like they are. These ports looks to fit on an expansion slot space but can be modified to fit in the front of the case itself.

The store is called Electronic Discount Sales. Has LOTS of junk and OVERPRICED processors. Better deals can be found on the net. But the store is useful for some scrap parts and stuff.

Imaginer has the right idea. There are extra pins in the front of the motherboard that can be used to connect extra USB ports.

I wish I could find a big enough pic of the mobo to show what I mean..

You can take advantage of those pins and add 2 additional USB to the mobojust like i did. Its a cable that connects to those pins. Avlaible in best buy for about $13 manufactured by Belkin. I will see if I can get the link

My K7Pro has two rows of five pins each, it looks like. Are each of those connectors five pins?

They should be 5 pin.

The ones at the store I was at had the 10 pin / one connector thing.
