Hi!
I just want to know if I can make the text in a picture clearer. I've already tried photo gallery in windows, and that didn't work. :(

Are you creating the picture and want to make sure the text stays sharp? If so, save a new copy from the original image at a higher resolution/quality.

Or are you trying to take an existing blurry picture and make it more readable? If so, this usually can't be done since the detail is already lost. Even though they 'magically' do it on CSI, once the detail is gone from a picture there really isn't any way to get it back.

You can go in there and manually edit the pixels to clean it up. If this is just a one shot deal it wont be so bad. Just use ms paint. Zoom all the way in and use the single pixel pencil tool. Also, try drawing a box around 4-12 pixels and then ctrl-dragging the box one pixel over in the appropriate direction. After many iterations of these two steps you can clean up pretty anything.

Are you talking about text photographed in the picture, or text added to the picture?

It also depends if you just want to be able to read the text, or if you want it to look nice. Using a sharpening tool in photo editing program can usually make stuff like that readable, but it's not pretty.
