How can i make text in a pic more clear?

I was wondering if someone can help me with this:
I have a few pics of a magazine article and was wondering if someone knew a program or method to make the txt in the picture more clear,right now its unreadable.

you mean you took a digital picture of a real magazine and it's unfocused?

if so, you could try photoshop (or some lesser photo editing program) and play with the brightness/contrast, etc. Or do a 'unsharp mask' which can sharpen up images.

if you want more help, post a sample somewhere and post the link here...

I'd use Photoshop. Select the text area and then use the sharpen feature. If you can get a hold of 6.0, I can help you. Let me know if you need any help.

well its a scan of an article, I tried sharpening it in psp7.02 but the next just gets really weird looking(bright and jaggy)

yeah, unless imagestation is doing some resizing, I'm seeing a 319x450 image. I don't think that's enough resolution for that text.

I tried to bump up the resolution with genuine fractals...but the detail is just not there.
