Print screen is like a copy button. You need to go to a paint program and paste it. Then save it.

Nothing is supposed to happen, it's all in the background.

Just open word, click edit, and paste.

Then save it as whatever format you want. :p

<< I am new to this. I hit Print Screen, and nothing happens. >>

The image is captured in memory. Just open up Word or Paint and hit Ctrl+V and it will paste the entire screen.

On the same note, does anyone know how to capture the contents of the ENTIRE browser window?

It gives me the choice of saving it as Word For Windows 6.0, Rich Text Format, Text Document, Text Document MS-DOS Format, and Unicode Text Document. I see no option for saving it as a .JPG. Sorry, I am sure I am missing something obvious, I was away from Windows for a long time, and am using Windows ME as the verdict was not out on its suckage when my computer was built. :p

ok

1) Press Print Screen
2) Open MSPAINT
3) Control V
4) Say yes to the question
5) Save as .jpg
6) Upload to webspace

Dont mess with BMP or any other crap.

Hold down the Alt and Print Screen keys at the same time. This will copy just the browser window. Then Ctrl+v to paste it into Word.

Whoops, nevermind. Guess that's not what you're looking for.

Thanks everyone. I was able to save the evidence, if you care to drag the LINKY
up to the Navigation Bar. You will see that dead people browse AT. :Q
