I have two UJDA750 DVD/CD-RW combo drives I pulled from laptops. Is it possible to find an external case that would fit one so I could use as an external usb slim drive?
How do I know that the plug on the back of the dvd/cd-rw unit itself will fit the connector inside that case? Dont some laptops use different connectors on the back of their drives?
Laptops put the bare drive into a carrier or caddy. The bare drive would normally need to be removed from same for placing it in an external case. Eventually you have to get to standard PATA or SATA connectors.
This should show the bare drive sitting underneath the caddy.
