Alright, if this is a stretch forgive me. I have an extra 250 watt psu sitting around, and i would like to use it in my future pelt setup to take some load off my system psu. Ive seen sites that sell psu testers that put a load on the mobo connector, but i want to make a device that will take and disperse enough load efficiently that i can use the other connector for my pelt and some fans and lights and blah blah blah. If someone can help me i would love it!!!!

thanks

Um....i dont quite understand what you are asking biennerienno. Is it how to turn on a PSU without a mobo? Then you short the green wire on the ATX Power Connector with a black one. Easy. Sorry if this wasn't what you wanted...

yeah, that i what i was talkin about, but do i have to worry about power outed through the wire? do i need a resistor or can i just short these two wire, and forget about it?
