How can I live stream an event?

I am getting older, so not nearly as tech savvy as I once was and am hoping someone here knows the best way to do this.

Here is the rundown.:

Son plays high school soccer. Play off game is tomorrow.
His Grandmother looks forward to soccer all year. She was in a car accident yesterday and is in the hospital. When the trauma surgeon was explaining to her that she would be staying with them for quite a few days, the realization that she might miss what could be his last game made her start crying. Not because of the long painful recover ahead of her, but because she couldn't be there tomorrow.

So, TLDR, I want to buy whatever it takes to livestream the game for her so she can watch from her hospital room. Ideally its as simple as "buy the sony whatever camcorder, an ipad for her, and hook everything up through youtube."
Any ideas, people of ATOT?

Edit: or am i better off giving up this dream (resolution would be too crappy, quality in general not great) and just text her updates?

Have you tried calling Youtube and asking them to come down to the game?

I think you can do a facebook live feed. IDK how it works, but I was able to watch my daughter's Veteran's Day performance from work while she was doing her thing at the elementary school. Free (minus the ipad).

I'd film it, and send her a link to the video. 24 hours isn't much time to learn, implement, and troubleshoot a new to you technology.

Facebook live or Periscope app.
You're going to eat through your dataplan though and your arm is going to get damned tired holding that phone/iPad

Thanks for the suggestions.I am going to go with the plan of text updates and trying to get some short vids of the highlights and text those to her.
I think that will work well enough.
