How can I "legally" make $1000/month on the web?

O.K. guys I'm a proffesional programmer, and I'm looking for ways to make 1k a month using my application/web programming history!

Anyone have any ideas? I am doing some contract work, but I'd like to think of something that could run itself with little maintainance.

If anyone has any brilliant ideas, "toss it up"!

Thanks,
ScAndal

Setup a godly porn site. That earns money very fast.

Or promoting "get paid to surf" and build an insane big downline.

If we knew how to setup a site to make that with little maintenance we'd all be doing it...

Stick with your day job. If you have to ask, you don't possess the entrepenurial skills needed to generate your own business plan. You are destined to a career as someone else's tool. You will always be making money for someone else, or be out of a job...

Porn. Pretty simple really. Invest 20 - 30 hours a week on it for a few months and you'll be making that much after about a year, and it'll quickly grow after that. You'll be able to quit your day job in less than 18 months and work from home making a whole lot more than you were at your day job. The sky's the limit really.

Perry: just out of curiosity, how would one go about starting a major porn site? where do they get thier material? do they go to other sites and steal their pics? or do you have to become a porn photographer with a studio set up in your living room?

porn may be lucrative, but some of us would rather not have the reputation of a "sleeze" within their communities. how do you explain to you MOM what you do? ;)

CP: easy. "Mom, I am a photographic artist that caters to a section of the population who just happen to like to remain anonymous"

"I make money selling things for other people on the web. They pay me to get people from search engines to their websites." Then you setup a couple vstores and show that to mom. Who cares of those make money, it's just a front.

There are companies that sell 'web legal' pictures that include a license to show the pictures on the web. They take care of making sure that the models sign releases and are of legal age.
