How can I learn to nef?

I read many more threads than I post in. If I were a good nef, the threads I read and post in would be nearly equal. However, usually my interest isn't great enough to post a response, or, I really don't have anything to contribute. How can I get past these issues and become a productive ATOT nef?
 
Start replying to threads with single-word answers... if you see someone else's post that halfway resembles your own thoughts, just hit "Quote" and post that.
 
This is a good start, as previously stated.

To really rack them up though, you want to hang out in Hot Deals and post comments like "nice deal" or "no coupon codes allowed here" to get your numbers up.
