A lot of his "guess a number" type things are a combination of stats and editing. Someone posted one a few months ago where you guess a number between 1 and 50, but it must be two digits and both digits must be odd. Most people choose 37, so he keeps the footage of people that choose that number and throws out the footage of people who don't pick it.

For card tricks, do a google search or your local library

Watch the show "Street magic Exposed" or something like that. It shows how he does all his tricks including the levetating one.

my friend bought some tricks on the internet for about $100 each. at first i told him he was an idiot for paying that much for tricks, but then he performed some tricks for me, and i was freaking amazed. some of those tricks are sick, and his card control is unbelievable. and of course he won't tell me how to do any of them because he shelled out so much money for them :(

Any half decent magic trick book will tell you how to do a trick.

The rest is practice, practice, practice! Sleight of hand is very much a skill.

i want to know how he put a ciggerette through a quarter. or how he bit off part of a quarter and blew on it and it instantly became whole again. there has to be some tv special effects going on i think and the people on the street are just actors.

I have the cigarette/quarter trick. Its kind of hard to describe in words but I'll try. Its actually two quarters (well parts of two quarters) the first has a hole drilled in it about the size of a ciggarette, and has one side partially hollowed out. The second is designed to fit in the hollowed out portion of the first, and fill in the hole that was drilled, so when both parts are put together, it looks just like a regular quarter. There is also a rubber band that goes around the rim of the second quarter so that it can flip open when a ciggarette is pushed through it, and close when it is pulled out. When performing the trick you have to palm a real quarter to show to your spectators because if you were to give them the trick quarter they would see the seams and the secret would be revealed.

Those trick decks are lame, don't require much skill. I had a couple of them, and you could do cool tricks, but it seems like such a cop-out to use a trick deck.
It's better to learn real tricks with real cards.

The trick coin is at my parents house, so I did a quick rendering of what it looks like:

Coin open: This is what the coin looks like when a ciggarette is put in it.
Exploded view: The yellow ring is supposed to represent the rubber band.

Also, when he levetates all the way up...its done after the show with some wires. They just try to mimic the crowd to make it seem like it was done infront of spectators.

Isn't it illegal to destory or counterfeit money?
