How can I keep my digital camera LCD clean?

The LCD on my digital camera has got quite dirty. This includes finger prints and other random dirt marks that I can't seem to get out. What can I do to clean the LCD?

cut a pda screeen protector to fit....they work wonders.

EDIT: i meant clean it with a soft cloth and then cover it with the pda screen protector...

Leave it in the box.

Get an optical microfiber cloth from a camera shop. Those are great, especially the ones with the antistatic stuff in 'em. They rock for desktop monitors too.

here's what I did last time when I didn't feel like paying 5$ for a piece of cloth

get a high quality scotch tape (from office?), put the tape carefully on top of the dirt/fingerprint/etc
then lift, get a new piece of tape and do this over and over, till all the nasty stuff is out

I'm not responsible if you damage your lcd though..

scotch tape? That has the chance of leaving residue. Just use the cloth. Will last a long time, also will work well with glasses and what not.

Go buy a pair of Oakleys and use the softcase to clean your camera lcd.

Ya, cause you need to spend the $50+ to get the <$5 cloth.

get the high-e-r quality ones (the ones that don't leave any residue/easy peel)

I should mention, never try this procedure with DUCK TAPE...
