How can i improve the performance of my raid array, it blows according to Sandra?

I just used the drives benchmark from Sisoft Sandra, to test the First partition of MY Raiod 0 array which consits of 2 30gig Maxtor ATA100, 7200RPM Diamond Max Plus 60 drives. According to sandra it should score about 36,000 if I remember correctly, well mine barely broke 6,000, WTF is wrong. I am using Win 2K with Service pack 2 installed, what else do I need.

Bench the second partition, it should post a higher number. When SANDRA is done blowing you, tell her to look me up.

I tried the second partition and it did jump a bit up to 14,000, but that is still half what sandra says it should be.

And sandras not blowing me, she said my drives blow, so apprentlly, she is a he, so i send him right over to you.LOL

Try different raid and chipset drivers.
