Buy a wireless router and hook the incoming port on the wireless router to the 4th (uplink) port of your wired router. They have special adapters for game systems so that you dont have too much lag and stuff.

i would swap out your current router for one that supports wifi - b/g - a is a different frequency and was never really adopted heavily, it was more expensive and never really took off. i would probably get a set of the extended range antennas and be done with it. when i first got a laptop that had a b/g card i had my regular router, a wireless router which i used as an access point, but very quickly just made the wireless router the one and only since it still has a 4port switch on the back. then i ran some 3rd party firmware and have what linksys wish they would have built :D a router that has not been rebooted in 229 days :D

i think the current b/g linksys routers are ~$50 and then usually a rebate. then the antennas may add a bit over, but if you are going to be gaming the better signal will be better. i have no idea about the actual items for the consoles, sorry
