this is my problem

I have a DWL-G520 and the manual said to install the drivers before putting the card in. I did that but then it says there will be an install new software window for the card after i restart, but I didnt get that

Im running vista and the manual didnt say it supported it (but I just assume cause the manual is old)

is there anyway I can get this card to work? How can i install the rest of the software? thanks

Start > Run > Type devmgmt.msc > Right click Computer at the top and click scan for hardware changes

hi rdical quick question

the adaptor I have is real old and I dont think it is supported by Vista. Im searching online and havent found a driver compatible for it, but most of the threads ive found on google with the same prob date to about 06
like this
http://forums.driverguide.com/showthread.php?t=40524

so my question is will vista support the card? is there anything else i have to do? also doing what you suggested right now

thanks

Edit: did what you suggested and nothing happened. It said it was scanning but nothing else popped up

If nothing popped up it likely means your system is not detecting the device. If there is no software released for vista, your chances of getting this working are slim, but not entirely out of the question.
