how can I get the "show desktop" shortcut to only minimize stuff on 1 monitor, not both?

I have dual monitors and I use the secondary one as sort of a static place to view info. so when I click the "show desktop" shortcut, I'd like it to only minimize windows on the primary monitor, not the secondary one. any idea how to accomplish this?

That's interesting topic. Even with two monitors, it still consider as one desktop. Maybe a third party script to disable right or left side of desktop.
