How can I get my 2005fpw to run 1024xwhatever resolution?

My games default to 1024x768 and I can't seem to run any of them on this monitor.

From the destop, i tried changing the resolutions and it did the same. Any ideas?. I've tried all the monitor buttons, but they don't move that far. Also, I've tried reinstalling drivers for both video and monitors.
