*shudders* I thought outlook couldnt get worse... :p

To actually help you, you need to setup the pop3 section of outlook. Go into hotmail options and find out what the pop3 server is and fill in the blanks.

ACtually, when u set up a new account, it lets u choose a Hotmail server by default.

There is a menu, and one of the options is a hotmail account creation/integration.

Real easy

goto

Tools>
Account>
Add>
Mail>

Enter user info

When the box pops up asking about a pop3 server hit the down arrow choose HTTP and then hotmail enter user id and pass. Click next and your finished

this 3rd party program is apparently no longer sold, but if you can find it somewhere it may be what you need

good luck to you

<< first of all...u use outlook??? >>

I like Outlook 2000. I use Netscape for e-mail at work, but at home I like having all of my tasks, notes, IMAP e-mail, archived e-mail, etc. all together. I've never had any real problems with Outlook, and it syncs with my Visor very well. I don't have any reason to switch and I'm not sure what else can offer the same stuff in as tight a package as Outlook. I know maybe Lotus Notes might be comperable, but I don't mind using all MS Office stuff. In fact, I kinda like it:Q
