how can i get absolyute numbers in excel

i have a range of cells that have both positive and negative numbers, i need a formula that takes the negative numbers and turns them into positive.

I was going to say the same thing. I think the formula is abs().

More important, it has usefull information. I answer 90% of my user questions (that I have to look up) with the built in help.

There is almost no point in learning what you can easily reference.
