How can I get 5.1 system on my laptop.

I have a surround sound system (5.1) from my old desktop. I just got a laptop and want to still use my sound system with it. My laptop only have one jack for headphone!
Any solutions .. or am I screwed ?

I did a quick look on Newegg without any lucky.

The Add-On Card and the Surround Sound Cable by Creative are probably what your looking for (assuming your laptop has an express-card slot). If it has a PCMIA slot then you want This Add-on card.

There are also a few usb solutions out there, although I'd be wary of the sound quality in them.

Yeah that is what I am looking for. It's an expensive upgrade tho... ummm

You can also do it qith the Creative USB external device. That's what I use.

USB

It just plugs into a USB port and has all the ports you need for 5.1. It is the Audify 2NX - some still available.

2NX
