How can I forward a range of ports in Win2K Server?

I need to forward ports 10,000-20,000 at my public IP to a private nat ip. I am using Windows 2000 Server Routing Services as my router. I can find where I can enter in a single port, but not a range. 10,000 ports is too many to enter by hand.

Help!

You can write a script to do that. As for exactly how... You'll have to hit it up on TechNet or MSDN or something.

why would you need to forward 10000 ports? you might as well just give it a public IP

public ip, bah, thats what I ended up having to do. The device in question wanted to many random ports to try and capture them all and forward them. I had to get another ip from my dsl provider at $10 per month.

make sure you keep that thing patched up... thats just scary to have a windows machine on a public ip
