How can i format an Excel worksheet to make it look professional?

Are there any good formats or anything to use? Can i format the headers?

There are lots of canned templates available for Excel. These are freebies. And you can be creative. As for "professional," not sure what that means. Most pros I know that use spreadsheets just provide the data. Eye candy usually suggests there might be a lack of depth in the data.

Do you have a sample of something you consider professional? It's all just a matter of tweaking it yourself or tweaking an existing template.
