I am running that UD cancer distributed client and it supports only one CPU so I need a second one to load up to run on my second CPU. Possible? I think so, but dunno how!

perhaps if you install it on a separate drive. however, i think that the client should be config to use dual cpus, perhaps your best bet is to email the client writers and ask them personally.

Try rename the exe file. See what happens. I have not done UD myself, I plan to try it in the future though.

Skoorb, you really should try posting in distributing computing, they are very knowledgable people there. That why that forum is there. ;)

It's probably keeping track of previous load instances using class name, in which case renaming or changing dir would do jack sh-t to help. People have made cracks for such things in prior instances, the most recent one that I can think of being AIM. Even if you did load a second instance, it may still try to run off of the same CPU as the first, so your best bet would be to write to the makers and ask them for dual CPU support.
