How can I force 100% cotton to shrink as much as possible ?

What is the best way to shrink a 100% cotton garment as much as it can be shrunken ?

In terms of Washing + Drying .... long host wash with long hot dry ? any soaking in hot/cold would help ?

Hot wash and a nice long dryer session on max heat should do it.

Burn it. It should be fairly small after that, but I doubt it will be 100% cotton anymore.

Shouldn't damage it AFAIK unless it's super-high-quality Egyptian Cotton or something.

j/k....yes, I got some shorts online but they are just a llittle too big.
