How can I find out what chipset my SCSI card has

I currently have an apple g3 with an adaptec APA-2940 PCI SCSI card in it. I've scoured Adaptecs site and want to know whether this card is the same as the AHA-2940 (meaning I'd be able to use it in my PC when it arrives).

Anyone have some insight, or a place to point me to find out?

It would seem to me that the BIOS on the card would have to be totally different if you tried to move it from a Mac to a PC. I don't see how you could reflash it with out some kind of hot swap or multiple SCSI card strategy. Used AHA2940's are so cheap I don't see how it is worth the trouble anyway.

That makes sense... Although maybe I could get lucky and be able to flash it.

On a side note, is that 2940 bootable?
