I've heard of places that sell cars that were recovered from theft, were flood vehicles, etc. and wanted to know how I can find one in and around Indiana.

Any recommendations on how to find a used/wrecked car dealer like that in and around Indiana?

I did try searching google but didn't have any luck at all.

If the cops don't know or won't tell you, you could also ask the various towing companies in your area, since they're the ones who tow recovered cars.

Ok, that's not a bad idea, I'll give them a call and find out

I think their number is 911... or 912 or something like that

I'll need to look this up, I'll PM you the number if I find out, although I don't think it's 911, that's some phone sex company.

our local autotrader lists used car dealerships and some deal with wrecked cars. Perhaps you could try that?

If its a decent shape theft recovery, it will go back to the owner. If they're a total loss like collision, fire, flood they usually go to something like an ADESA Impact or Manheim Total Resource Management sale where they're sold to dealers.

What a lot of exporters will do is buy a wrecked/rolled late model car on a rebuildable or certificate of destruction title, fix it to 100% and export it.
