How can I figure out what color my wall is?

I wanna repaint my wall but have no idea what the damn color is...any easy way to find out

It depends. If you have y-chromosomes, then look at this list:
ROYGBP BW
Your choices are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and white. If you want to get fancy, there's "yellowish green" or if it's closer to yellow, "greenish yellow," etc. Or, there's "light red" (sometimes referred to as pink.)

Now, before someone corrects me with some idiotic "roygbiv", what the heck is "indigo?" "violet?" It's purple.



Oh, and if you don't have a y-chromosome, sorry, can't help ya. You'd need help from my y-chromosome deficient wife for that.

take paint chips and try to match it

This, take it to Home Depot or Lowes, I think their computer can recreate it.

1) Chip off a piece of paint (or piece off a chip of paint?).
2) Apply for matching funds.
3) Profit!
