I'm currently using email from place that uses the outlook web interface. I've been able to download emails to thunderbird using pop3 and it all goes to my inbox. However, I can't download the other folders, like sent folder, or custom folders that I created? basically, I'll be moving to different company and want to download everything before my access is cut off. Any way to forward everything to gmail? Or is there some option to zip up all my emails and download everything at one time? thanks.

Are you able to connect directly to the exchange server with outlook?

Do they offer any other connection method? IMAP?

If so, you can easily back everything up to a PST file.

If not, you "could" copy everything from your sent items over to your inbox and then back it up. It isn't ideal, but it will work.

Just back everything to a PST file using the normal version of Outlook (do an archive of everything). The other folders are probably maintained on the exchange server and thunderbird won't be able to download them.
