I run seveal antivirus pograms - Superantivirus, Malewarebytes, Mwavescan and even TrendMicro's online scanner "Housecall." They are usually very good. However, now I have the Trojan.hider.i virus and it changes files and folders to .exe. All these antivirus programs do not fix them, they simply delete them. I have important things in these files and folders and I'm not going to delete them. So is there any program that can remove the virus without deleting files and folders.
One person suggested that a Linux OS would view all the corrupted files as a separate file and all I would have to do is copy the good one. I haven't tested that out yet but it would be very time consuming. Isn't there any antivirus program that kill the trojan without deleting the files and folders.
